VICTORIAN CRISIS
GOVERNMENT DEFEAT ALMOST CERTAIN NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.20 MELBOURNE, To-day. A No Confidence motion was launched in the Victorian Legislative Assembly to-day against Mr. E. J. Hogan's Labour Government, for its failure adequately to protect the volunteer maritime workers, and check disorder. The fate of the Ministry depends on the votes of four Country Party members who are likely to turn the Ministry out of office. The debate has been adjourned.
