Woodsford, to retain possession, as McKernan was not authorised to take C °Mr E Bakewell, president of the Employers’ Federation, reviewing the ftVikes and ruffianism in Melbourne, said “It is quite evident that if peaceable citizens desire to carry on business. they must resist the lawlessness the maritime unions. The best way W preserve peace is to prepare for war.”
