ST. JAMES
STIFFY AND MO SEASON
Incorrigibly funny, as they have been for weeks, Stiffy and Mo, heading the “Whirligigs” Revue Company, are in their final week, drawing large houses to St. James Theatre. The principal comedians, with their delightful artless methods, do an excellent convict stunt in a prison that would cheer the heart of any “lag doing a life sentence. The Symphonic Six set feet tapping with a new selection of dance music, including "Reaching the Moon” and “O Doris.” Sadie Gale, Amy Rochelle and Peter Brooks help the show along on the singing side, mixing light and heavy numbers pleasantly. The Terry Sisters and the wistful 'Erb, helped, off course, by the Jolly Radio Six, do first-rate dancing. There is also a series of snappy sketches with bright surprise endings. The programme will be repeated this evening.
