HIDDEN IN SHAVING-BRUSH (From Oar Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, To-day. A youth, Robert J. Dadden, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to stealing £ 1 from a fellow employee at Mangatangi. It was stated that he hid a £1 note in a shaving brush in an outhouse. "When interviewed by the police he admitted the theft. The youth’s father said his son was of a stubborn disposition and made poor progress when attending school, only reaching the fourth standard at the age of 15. The youth was admitted to probation for twelve months. An application for the suppression of his name was refused. ____________
