A SUMNER RESIDENTS LOSS A well-known Sumner resident had an unfortunate experience the other night. He. with other “gallants,” took everything in their stride at the sideshows during the local gala. With his "Loewe” in his mouth and his attention on the little dark elusive squares, he was oblivious to all around himSome connoisseur grasped the opportunity of availing himself of the “local’s” pouch and tobacco, Richmond Best. Later, at the Club, the poor unfortunate made known his loss ana to use his own words, said “it was no the ‘blanky’ pouch that he was worrie about, but the tobacco.” His soon rallied round him and he hasufficient Richmond Best to carry with.
