TURNED BACKS ON WORK

The coal lumpers refused to coal two steamers at Port Melbourne. Their licences will probably be cancelled. When a call was made for men to coal the liner Beltana those present turned their backs and refused to be engaged. The Beltana is now being loaded by volunteers.
