EXPERTS TO DECIDE
REPARATIONS QUESTION MEETING IN DECEMBER (United P.A. — Bjr Telegraph — Copyright) PARIS, Sunday. The Premier, M. Poincare, to-day received the British Ambassador to France. Sir William Tyrrell, and informed him of the progress made toward the appointment of a committee of experts to consider the reparation problem. it is understood that M. Poincare, who at first was only willing to appoint a delegate with limited authority, is now prepared to sponsor the committee. It is practically settled that this shall consist of eminent, independent. financial experts, not of officials bound by the instructions of ( their respective governments. It remains to be decided what the committee’s terms of reference shall be. It is believed it will be empowered to ascertain the total sum sufficient to satisfy the Powers’ demands, including those of France for war damages, and to suggest the number and amount of the annuities to be paid by Germany. Among the names mentioned as Probable members of the committee are: M. Moreau (France). Sir Josiah otamp (Britain), Dr. Schacht (Ger®an)), Mr. Frangqui (Belgium), and oignor Pirelli (Italy). The first meeting will possibly be held in Demember.
