A scene taken only a week or two ago on the road from Gisborne up to East Cape, and on to Hicks Bay. T his is the only bad stretch, and is between the Waiapu River and Hicks Bay, away past Ruatoria. When this piece is metalled, this district will prove an interesting out-of-the-way trip for a camping motorist.
