“DISGRACE TO THE TOWN”

HAMILTON WEST SCHOOL (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Monday. For 30 years the principal State school at Hamilton, known as the Hamilton West School, has remained in a dingy condition without improvements. The Hon. J. A. Young paid an official visit to-day and stressed the need for retaining every acre of ground. H* sympathised with the hopes of the committee that a fine, modern structure would be erected shortly, and described the present building as “a disgrace to the town.”
