HAURAKI CANDIDATES

Reform and United candidates are having a busy time In Hauraki. Mr. Ebenezer Allan, United, addressed a large audience at Howick on Friday. His address was on the same lines as previous ones, and he was supported by Mr. A. J. Stallworthy. Mr. A. W. Hall. Reform, has been in many parts of the district, ineluding Otahuhu and Papatoetoe, and has spoken at several country centres.

The taxation burden and questions of land settlement formed the main subjects in an address which Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, United for Waitomo, gave to electors at Kiokio. A vote of thanks was passed.
