BIRTHDAY PARTY

On Saturday afternoon, Mrs. T. Richards, of Margaret Street, Papatoetoe, gave a delightful party at her residence in honour of her small son Clifford, who celebrated his fourth birthday. A large number of children were entertained out of doors, where amusing games and competitions were played. Later in the afternoon the children gathered round the party table, which had been prettily decorated with flowers and bright streamers, and was laden with numerous dainties. A daintily-iced cake occupied the place of honour and carried four little twinkling candles.
