BACH AND WAGNER

Excellent musical entertainment was given at the Town Hall last evening when the city organist, Mr. Maughan Barnett, gave an interesting recital ranging from Bach to the golden tumult of the “Ride of the Valkj’ries.” The Bach numbers were, “Alla Breue” and “My Heart Ever Faithful.” Other items on the programme included “Concert Piece” (Hollins). “Dodelinette (Gounod), “Sugar-Plum Fairy” (Tschaikowski), “Sixth Sonata” (Mendelssohn), “Good Night’’ (Nevin).
