LYRIC
“A RENO DIVORCE” An up-to-date comedy-drama entitled “A Reno Divorce,” will be shown at the Lyric Theatre again this evening. May McAvoy is the star. She is cast as an ultra-modern society deb, with a penchant for the gaming table, and a habit of speeding, which in an early sequence of the exciting comedy-drama,, is the undoing of a disinherited young artist. May loads him into her car, hurtles home with him, has him put to bed, calls a doctor and appoints herself nurse-in-chief, all in Twentieth Century time. Affairs flourish with both invalid and attendant till the arrival of a newly-divorced pair, who severally set their caps, to capture the interesting pair. Whirling complications, startling adventures and amusing twists of circumstance bring the picture to a powerful conclusion. Lefty Flynn in “Mulhall’s Great Catch” will be the second attraction.
