CITIZENS’ SUNDAY
OBSERVANCE AT DEVONPORT

Aldridge, Borough Council members, and representatives of public institutions, were among a large congregation. The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh emphasised the ideal of citizenship. Recognition must be given the debt a citizen owed to a community, he said. The deepest need of the community was spiritual, not material.
