NETHERTON MAN IN DOCK

The retrial was begun in the Supreme Court this morning of John Horace James Johnson, farmer (Mr. Sullivan) on four charges of incest at Xetherton. Accused was tried at the August sessions. The offences were alleged to have occurred in 1927 and 1928. Mr. V. N. Hubble prosecuted for the Crown. On counsel’s application Mr. Justice Smith made an order clearing the Court. His Honour said he did not propose to forbid publication of evidence, but would leave the case to the discretion of tha Press. (Proceeding.)
