SOME EXTRAORDINARY AVERAGES
A CHANGE from the slow wickets of the opening series of matches to a fairly fast and lively turf may be given as the chief reason for a series of small scores in A.C.A. cricket on Saturday. The bowlers in practically every senior game had the upper hand, in one case the man with the ball gaining the extraordinary average of five wickets for one run.
