GIFT OF £13,474 TREATMENT OF RHEUMATISM British Official Wireless Reed. 1.10 p.m. RUGBY, Sat. Sir Otto Beit, who recently showed his interest in the British Red Cross Society’s appeal for £40,000 to establish a clinic for the treatment and study of Rheumatic diseases, by contributing £IO,OOO, has now sent a further donation of £3,474 to complete the sum required. It is hoped that the clinic will be ready for the treatment of patients next year. In the meantime the British Red Cross Society is considering the development of a national scheme, for the treatment of rheumatism.
