AIR SPEED RECORD GREIG’S PREPARATIONS (United Service J LONDON, Thursday. The engine of Flight-Lieutenant DArcy Greig’s Supermarine-Napier seaplane, in which he is to attempt to establish a new speed record, has ™ n altered to enable it to make (,000 revolutions a minute. By this means it may be possible 10 . attain a speed of seven miles a minute in the preliminary dive before the plane enters the measured straight course.
