“NO BARS WILL HOLD ME”

PRISONER RECAPTURED Press Association PALMERSTON N., Friday. The prisoner, Charles William Wahle, alias Mcßae, who escaped from Raetihi on October 22, was arrested at the Palmerston North railway station this afternoon. When he was searched explosives, a fuse and detonators were , found in his pockets. Wahle is reported to have called at a house and boasted to a woman that lie would never be recaptured, also that no bolts or locks would hold him, as he would easily pick any prison lock.
