TOM MIX FACES TWO CHARGES OF ASSAULT
“Tony can snort, but what can you ilo -” 1 ' These words, addressed at Tom Mix by Will Morrissey, the comedian, are said to have brpught about a quarrel that has had, as;its sequel, the appearance of the cowboy actor in court on two charges of assault. The Hew York correspondent of the
“Daily Mail” reports that talking films, which are said to be the sole topic of conversation at Hollywood, led to . the issue of the warrant against Blix. At a party attended by many screen celebrities
the film comedian Will Morrissey tried one joke too many for Mix’s satisfaction. Morrissey remarked to Mix, referring to the cowboy star’s horse; “Tony can snort, but what can you do?” It is alleged that Mix struck the comedian. The result of the case has not yet been announced.
