ROSKILL
Although born in England, Mr. Munns has been in Newr Zealand since he was 21. He has always been interested in mining and at the present time is chairman of directors of the Maoriland G.M. Coy. For about *25 years he has been engaged in business and is - well known in the commercial world. Mr. Munns was for seven years a member of the Gisborne Borough Council; also a member of the Patriotic Association, Boxing Association, and many other public bodies. If elected he is planning to keep in close touch with the whole of the district all the time.
Born in Berkshire, England, and educated in Yorkshire, Mr. Richards came to New Zealand at the age of 17. He followed sheep and mixed farming in Poverty Bay for ten years, and for 20 years has been engaged in various branches of business on his own account, with success. He lias been actively attached to the Labour Party in the political fight since its inception. . Mr. Richards has been president of several industrial ana political bodies
from time to time, including president of the Auckland Labour Representation Committee, and six years an Executive officer.
