AMBULANCE COLLECTION
ABOUT £650 RAISED About £650 was raised for the St. John Ambulance Association by the street collection yesterday. Collections were made as far afield as Manurewa but, although the amount raised is a good sum, the money falls far short of what is required to carry on the work of the association. The money raised will be used for service work, the district nursing department being entirely dependent on donations.
