INTERESTING BOXING
MILITARY TOURNAMENT GOOD DISPLAYS GIVEN With the better class performers In action the boxing at the annual tournament of the Auckland Military Sports Association, in the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, last evening was very interesting. The boxing was up to, if not above, the usual standard of the military competitions. nearly all of the competitors engaged showing some knowledge of the rudiments of the art. The contests promised some good boxing in the finals to be held to-morrow evening. The referee was Mr. T. Sampson, and the announcer Captain Clifton.
