PROSPECTS FOR POLO BRIGHT IN WAIKATO
NEW CLUBS FORMED
(From Our Own Coi'i'espondent) HAMILTON, Thursday. Polo will be in full swing in the Waikato after the opening of the season at Matangi on Saturday. In this district the game promises to be as popular as ever and a fillip to public interest has been given by the appearance of neAV clubs, including one at Waimai, between Hamilton and Raglan. Those in control of the game have gone to considerable expense in providing the excellent playing facilities which are available at Matangi and a large rally of spectators is anticipated. During Saturday afternoon the Auckland Provincial Polo Association Avill meet and the venue of the provincial tournament of the new season will be decided.
