LINDRUM’S 1,461 BREAK CONTEST AT CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. From an unfinished break yesterday of 851, Walter Lindrum. playing Clark McConachy in a match of 18,000 up, took tire break to 1,461, a world's record, to-day. He thus beat his previous record of 1.417 by 44. The scores at the end of the evening session were: Landrum, 5.872, including breaks of 240, 158 and 128 unfinished; McConachy, 4,130, including breaks of 139, 100 and 236.
