AUCKLAND FOOTBALL ASSN. LAST EVENING’S VOTING Great interest was taken at the voting in the Auckland Football Association’s Queen Carnival contest last evening. After a last-minute rush on the part of the various club supporters to register votes for their respective queens, the count was finally taken, the queens being placed in the following positions:—Business Houses, Miss Marjorie Simpson, 1: Tramways, MisS Hilda Takle, 2; Y.M.C.A., Miss Mavis Ross, 3; Ponsonby, Miss Marjorie Armstrong, 4; Onehunga, Miss Nelie Bentley, 5; Belmont, Miss Lena Follas. Only two or three votes are separating some of the queens. The voting will close on November 30.
