EVEN GAME FOR WOMEN’S TITLE In a high wind, the final of the Auckland Ladies’ Provincial Golf Championship is being played at Titirangi links this afternoon. The finalists are Mrs. Roy Dufaur und Miss U. Horton, both TiUringl members. 6 ° v er the first seven holes Mrs. Dulaur held an advantage of one up. The first hole was halved in four, and Mrs. Dufaur took the second with a 201 t putt. At the third she put her teo shot out of bounds, losing the hole. Miss Horton got a bad lie in the rough at. the short fourth, Mrs. Dufaur winning the hole. The next was halved in nice fives, Mrs. Dufaur taking the sixth with a bogey five, after Miss Horton had duffed her second. A brilliant two at the seventh gave Miss Horton that hole, and the pair went away from the clubhouse again. Mrs. Dufaur one up.
