DOMINION PICTURES, LTD.

The annual meeting of shareholders in the Dominion Pictures, Ltd., was held yesterday. Mr. C. R. Chapman presided. The report stated that the profit on the year’s transactions, after making lull provision for depreciation, ld.nd and income tax, and repairs and renovations to Princess Buildings, amounted to £3,301, to which must be added £577, the balance brought forward from 1927, after the payment of the final dividend. After deducting the per cent, dividend for the year the sum of £935 was left to be carried forward to next year’s account. The report added that the issue of the remaining 5,770 unallotted ordinary shares in the company, recently offered to shareholders at par, was fully subscribed. Mr. C. R. Chapman and Mr. W. S. Whitley,, retiring directors, were reelected. Mr. P. R. Fraser was reappointed auditor.
