ROYAL SHOW CONCLUDES
COMPETITIONS AND PARADE Pres? Association PALMERSTON N.. Thursday. In spite of torrential showers the attendance for the final day of the Royal Show was good. The attractions wer-3 the ring , competitions and grand parade in the afternoon and a military display in the evening. The gate takings for the day were £775 3s 9d, compared with £779 7s 9d for the third day of the Manawatu Spring Show last year. There was an increase of £ 97 12s 6cl for the three days, which was considered satisfactory in view of the wretched weather.
