PRESENTATIONS MADE

On Tuesday evening the whole staff of the Colonial Motor Company, Ltd., met to say good-bye to Mr. W. G. Brian, the former leader of the Ford

organisation in Auckland, who is leaving to join the Hudson-Essex Company. Letters indicating the esteem in which Mr. Brian is held have be?n received from members of the Ford retail organisation all over the Auckland Province. The factory and office staffs in Auckland presented him with a travelling rug and other gifts, and wished him success in his new employment. On Tuesday members of the maintenance staff of the Auckland Gas Company, Ltd., met to say good-bye and to wish good luck to Mr. A. Milne, who has been in charge of the department for the last few years. Mr. Milne is leaving for America, where he will settle permanently. On behalf of the staff Mr. J. R. Bruce presented Mr. Milne with a dressing-case and a travelling rug.
