BANKRUPT SHEEP-FARMER
DEFICIENCY NEARLY £40,000 Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. James R. Murphy, a sheepfarmer, has filed a petition in bankruptcy. His statement shows a deficiency of £ 38,692, and the amount'owing to unsecured creditors £ 39,937. His assets are valued at £1,247, and the amount owing to secured creditors is £27,659, this being the estimated value of the security.
