ZEPPELIN’S FLIGHT MAY REACH GERMANY TO-DAY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11.15 a.m. BERLIN. Wed. The Zeppelin airship, LZI27. which is on its return flight from America to Germany, reported by wireless that it was 140 miles west of Brest. It expected then to reach the Continent on Wednesday afternoon. The airship was reported at midnight to be rapidly approaching the coast of Ireland. The message came by wireless from the Dutch steamer Westerdijk. The position of the airship at that time was about 560 miles due west of the extreme south-west point on the Irish coast. Fair weather was being experienced. At 6 a.m. the airship was 2SO miles from the south coast of Ireland. According to a British wireless message at 7 o’clock this morning the Zeppelin was sighted 2SO miles south-west of Ireland, and at 10 o’clock she was reported 140 miles west of Brest. At 11.20 a.m. the British airship station at Cardington. in Bedfordshire, picked up a wireless message from the airship saying: "Over Bay ot Biscaj'.” A wireless message from the P. and O. liner Naldera announced that the ship had sighted the Zeppelin over the Bay of Biscay. Other reports gave her position as 1,700 miles south-west (f Brest. It was not expected that she would reach Frtedrichshafen before to-morrow morning.
