RECORD MEETING

MR. BUNN AT PANMURE Mr. Bertram Bunn, Reform candidate for Manukau, addressed what is said to be the largest political meeting ever held in Panmure, last evening. Mr. p Malone, chairman of the Panmure Town Board, presided. Finance, land settlement, secondary industries, education and pensions were some of the subjects touched upon by the candidate, who spoke of the many social reforms that had been introduced by the Government. The meeting was not free of interjections. At the conclusion the candidate was asked several questions, which he answered satisfactorily. A vote of thanks and confidence in Mr. Bunn was passed.
