COMMUNIST PAPER. -- In the interests of public safety the Czechoslovakian Government has suspended the Communist daily paper, “Rude Pravo’’ for one month.—A.P.A. HUNGER-STRIKER DEAD.—Pierre Roy, who was known as the second “Landru,” died in the Marseilles prison as the result of his hungerstrike.—A.P.A. BOXING IN LONDON.—In a boxing match at the National Sporting Club, London. Len Harvey outclassed Johnny Sullivan. The towel was thrown in in the sixth round.—A.P.A. BACK TO DEVIL’S ISLAND ? —The Government of Venezuela has been asked to extradite the French murderer. Dr Bougrat. who escaped from Devil’s Island. Some newspapers say Bougrat has resumed medical practice at Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.—A.P.A. PRINCE IN KENYA.—The Prince of Wales is now returning to Kenya Colony from Uganda. He passed through Kampala, the native capital of Uganda, this morning. Thousands of natives lined the route and cheered the Prince. At Jinja there was a great gathering of chiefs: and notables to bid him farewell. —British Wireless. TALKING TO SYDNEY.—Encouraged by the results of last Friday’s wireless telephonic tests between Schenectady and Australia, the General Electric Company will repeat the experiment on Wednesday. Representatives of American newspapers and of the Australian Press Association will attempt to communicate with Press representatives and others in Sydney—A.P.A.
