OCCIDENTAL UNA. —The manager reports:—“The leading stope on the No. 2 reef has been carried along for 40ft in length. The timber has been placed in position for stoping this block out. The reef is a well defined body of ore. The last hole fired showed nice dabs of gold. Crushing operations are proceeding at McGregor’s battery” MAORILAND. —The manager, reports: Last week we got into a run of very fair class of stone, which appears to be making good going south. This week we continued going south with this stope, which is now carrying a good grade of ore, showing nice patches of gold.
