STOWAWAY ON ULIMAROA ORDERED TO PAY FARE Joseph O’Brien, aged 32, a native of New Zealand, who has been shearing in Australia for about six years, felt homesick last week. Not having any money, O’Brien stowed away on the Ulimaroa at Sydney and appeared at the Police Court this morning to answer for his action. He pleaded guilty. O’Brien was ordered to pay the fare. £ 6 10s, and asked for time to find the money. “You cannot get a free passage and pay for it when you like,” commented Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.
