VOICES FROM AIR LINER OVER LONDON LOW-POWER TRANSMISSION (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Monday. Wireless conversations from a Vicars-Rolls Royce air liner flying over London were clearly picked up in Cairo. The feat is all the more remarkable in view of the fact that the power used in the airplane was only sufficient to light an ordinary electric lamp.
