A remarkable accident of tl*‘ “Didn’t know it was loaded” variety occurred at Manly when Victor Simons, while visiting friends, allowed his three-year-old son to play with a pea-rifle without ascertaining if it was loaded.
The boy pulled the trigger and Simons staggered back shot in the chest. He was taken to hospital, but his injury is not serious.
