TWO BRIGHT RACES

AMATEUR RUNNING HELD AT CARLAW PARK DISAPPOINTING FIELD IN SPRINT League fans at Carlaw Park on Saturday afternoon had a refreshing change of sport when two amateur running events were decided half-way through the football programme. Both races—a 100 yards and a half—were interesting, but there was a “Appointing field of three in the sprint. The limit man was not troubled. Auckland’s distance champion, J.
