. KITCHEN EVENING ! On Saturday evening Airs. C. W. I Weingott gave a kitchen evening for Aliss Vera Faigan, who is shortly to be married to her son, Air. Jack Weingott. Alany very beautiful gifts were received "by the hride-to-be. A very pleasant evening was passed at cards, dancing and musical items, the latter given by Mr. C. Weingott (piano) and Aliss L. E. Glass (songs). PRESENT FROM GUIDES On Sunday afternoon the Judean Girl Guides and their committee made a presentation to Aliss Faigan, who has been their secretary for some time. The present took the form of an attractive case of stainless dessert cutlery, and was made by Airs. J. Yoek. Afternoon tea was served and items were given by the Guides, including songs and. recitations.
