PRESENTATION MADE TO MISS M. BAKER
Miss Mabel Baker, who has edited the theatrical and women’s pages of the ’Sporting' and Dramatic Review” for some years, and is relinquishing her position owing to ill-health, was presented with handsome farewell gifts from the proprietary, Arthur Cleave and Co., Ltd., and her fellow employees. Mr. Cleave made the presentation in a eulogistic speech, referring to Miss Baker’s journalistic qualities, and expressing the sincere regret of all at her severance from the firm.
