REQUEST REFUSED

LABOUR AND RANGITIKEI Air. 11. E. Holland, Leader of the Labour Party, has refused a request from Alarton supporters of Air. J. T. Hogan, Independent candidate for Rangitikei, that Air. E. F. Andrews, the Labour nominee, withdraw from the contest. It was pointed out that Air. Hogan had declared he would vote for Labour to .put the Government out of office, but this did not alter Air. Holland's mind on the subject.
