400 GIRLS PARTICIPATE 816 EVENT NEXT SATURDAY Four' hundred ot Auckland's girl uhietes will compete in the third anil sports gathering of the Aucknnd Girls’ Athletic Association, to be staged at Blandford Park on Saturday 11 Spectacular, kaleidoscopic, and animated fittingly describes the scene at the function last year, and again on Saturday the girls, freed from the (iactin* talk ot moving in mass formation in complicated drill manoeuvres, sill take port in games that always prove such a bright and entertaining feature of the annual demonstration. For weeks now the girls have been framing hard with wholehearted en.husiasm for the big event, and again it seems that they a.re bound to show tip strong and rrrnke the affair still more successful.
