NEWMARKET TRAMS
RECONSTRUCTION STARTED Alterations to the tram-tracks in the centre of Newmarket have been commenced. Workmen are engaged in laying the concrete foundations for the new points and track which will carry the tracks out into the centre of the Triangle. The new safety zone at this point will be installed after the new tracks are completed. A few days will have to be allowed for the concrete to set, and the balance of the work is then expected to occupy about a fortnight.
