CLUB AT NEW LYNN The newly-formed Lynndale Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club held a most successful inaugural meeting at New Lynn on Tuesday evening. The Rev. W. P. Rankin, M.A., presided over an attendance of about SO enthusiastic members. The following officers were appointed for the forthcoming season:—Patron, Sir James Gunson; vice-patrons, Rev. W. P. Rankin. M.A., Messrs. A. Crum, R. O. Gardner; president, Mr. W. Vallance,- sen.; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Brooke-Taylor, E. Edney, J. Ockleston, C. F. Gardner; committee, Messrs. W. W. Edgerley, J. Crum, A. J. Miller, G. McWhirter, A. R. Elliott, W. L. Elliott, P. Stubbing, A. Rogers, G. Heron, W. Stewart, sen., A. J. Pollock and Weir; secretary, Mr. E. H. Stacey; treasurer, Mr. W.
