George Barr McCutcheon. the novelist, died suddenly on Tuesday at the age o£ 62. George Barr McCutcheon. who was born in Indiana on July 26. 1866. began his literary career as a reporter in 1889. He was the author of numerous short stories and 40 novels. Chief among the latter were •'Brewster’s Millions” and ”Beverly of Graustark.”
