CROSS COUNTRY RACES The annual steeplechase races for the Sacred Heart College pupils were run yesterday afternoon, when large fields participated. The results were: Juniors.—Hall McCarthy (lsm), 26m 4s, 2; Sheeby (lm), 26m 30s, 3. Hall secured fastest time and McCarthy second fastest. Seniors.—Gilhooly (2m), 22m 16s, I; Brazzi (l£m), 22m 545, 2; P. Smith (lm), 23m 17s, 3. Brazzi put up fastest time, breaking last year's record by 13s. Gilhooly made second fastest lime.
