UNITED PARTY LEANINGS
MR. ATMORE AT NELSON Press Association. NELSON, To-day. Air. IT. Atmore, Independent candidate, addressed a crowded meeting at the Theatre Royal last evening. The speaker criticised strongly the Coates Administi'ation and paid a great tribute to Sir Joseph Ward, regarding him as the only statesman in Australasia, and approving of his loan and railway policy. The candidate was accox'ded a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence.
