TITIRANGI TOURNEY FINAL STAGES REACHED The final stages of the Titirangi open amateur tournament were reached this morning, when the semi-final of the Titirangi Cup and the finals of the group handicaps were played. Close games were the order of the morning, and there was some excellent scoring. In the two semi-finals of the Titirangi Cup, play went to the eighteenth green, whore A. J. Good C. G. Johnstone, 1 up, and P. J. Western beat E. Robieson, also 1 up. PALMERSTON N., To-day. „4} a , meeting of the' Professional Golfers Association of Xew Zealand held at Dunedin last Thursday, it was decided to hold the next professional championship at Palmerston North. A definite date has not yet been fixed, but it will probably begin about the end of February or the beginning of March.
