MANUKAU AMATEUR CLUB The fourth annual meeting of the Manukau Amateur Cycling Club was held on Saturday evening. Mr. J. Dwight presided over an attendance of 32 members. The annual report stated that the club had experienced an exceptionally successful season, at the end of which 155 financial members figured on the roll. The balance sheet showed a credit of £ll, which must be considered entirely satisfactory, when taking into consideration that £149 worth of trophies were issued, and the expenses of a team of thrge to the New Zealand amateur championship cycle road race, of 5U miles, held at Wellington on September 15, 1928, were met. The election of officers for the 19281929 season resulted as follows: Patrons, Messrs. E. W. Cotter. S. W. House; president. Mr. H. G. Brewin: vice-presidents, Messrs. H. Clarkson, T. Clements, E. A» Craig, E. H*. Cucksey, J. W. Cummings, P. Faithfull, M. Jackson, E. S. Kohn, P. A. Richards, G. W. Spragg, J. Whitten; hon. secretary, Mr. L. Wilson; assistant secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. I. Gainsborough; race secretary, Mr. F. K. Glass; handicappers, Messrs. G. W, Cleaver, J. C. Stewart; club captain, Mr. F. J. Casey; vice-captain, Mr. H. G. Brewin; executive committee, Messrs. 11. G. Brewin, M. P. Byrnes, F, J. Casey, G. W, Cleaver, C. I. Gainsborough, K. Glass, L. Wilson; delegates to Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, Messrs. H. G. Brewin, G. W.
